Our Founder’s Journey – Muhammad Aftab Ashraf

From humble beginnings to becoming a pioneer in Pakistan’s solar industry, the journey of our founder and CEO, Muhammad Aftab Ashraf, is a story of passion, persistence, and purpose.

After completing his education in commerce, he stepped into the world of technology through computers and later entered the UPS market — experiences that laid the foundation for his true calling: solar energy.

Starting as a hands-on installer, he immersed himself in the technical side of the industry. Over the years, his role expanded — from a business developer connecting importers, dealers, and resellers, to becoming a key force behind the flourishing of solar in Pakistan.

His contributions go far beyond business:

Helped dozens secure jobs and guided many in launching their own ventures.
Introduced international solar brands to the local market.
Conducted training sessions and awareness campaigns across Pakistan.

He also founded SETUP (Solar Energy Trade Union Pakistan) — a community focused on raising awareness, ensuring service quality, and training the next generation of solar professionals.

To date, he has organized six major solar expos, uniting stakeholders and creating platforms for learning, opportunity, and innovation.
